A lazy sunday outfit inspired by Japanese Denim by Daniel Caesar.
The laidback vibes of the lovey dovey song match the relaxed outfit I’ve put together. The jeans are from Levi’s and the top is from Reitmans. I scored the denim jeans for like $20 in the clearance rack, and I wear them almost daily. I definitely hope they last me all my life. The top however, I got yeeeaaars ago and I know for a fact that you can’t buy it anymore. But there are a lot of other lingerie inspired tops that you can find at places like Mango, Zara, and even Forever 21.
Spring is rapidly approaching and my clothing is getting lighter and lighter.
I seem to be drawn towards bluer denim this season, and I’m trying to find ways to mix my jeans with some dressier tops and shoes. These high-waisted, slim fitting jeans have been a Godsend this winter/spring, especially since I personally like to be comfortable as often as possible. And I love being able to go from something casual to night-out appropriate as quickly as possible, and I think the right pair of denim can help you achieve that goal. The top is lightweight and really flexible in terms of pairing it with other items. It looks great with a skirt, or peaking out under a loose-fitting sweater. It’s silky and has some small details in the front which gives it a super feminine vibe.
I definitely should wear this top more often, but I can assure you that these jeans are being loved multiple times throughout the week. They’re my favourite pair of jeans. Ever.
